About us...
Swan River Dressage Inc was founded in 2010 with the aim to help foster and positively promote the sport of Dressage in WA.
The club strives to support our members in a friendly and inclusive manner through offering club training days, club level, Participant and Competitive competition series each year catering for all levels of riders including juniors, and all levels of competition from Prep to Grand Prix.
In 2023 we are proud to be holding our competition events at the State Equestrian Centre.
This year we welcome a range of different coaches as well as judges for the year for our Members Training and Protocol Days .

Our Saturday training days will be held at either Camellia Park, 1 Coast Rd, West Swan or Brookleigh Outdoor - TBA. See list of dates and venues on our Latest News page.
We will also be utilizing Virtual conditions again this year by holding HB Horsewear sponsored Members Virtual Competition in February and also a virtual competition for our members in July.
Set in amongst our training days is our annual series of four competition weekends with the
Sat/Day 1 - Competitor day and Sun/Day 2 - Participant and Club day , although subject to change depending on numbers.
Members results from these competitions go toward our Competitive, Participant and Members Only annual Leaderboards ,offered at at all levels with lovely sponsored woolen embroidered rugs presented to all winners at our Spring Gala in October. To be eligible Members will need to have attended and competed at, at least three of these dates Including the Gala event to - please see leaderboard and Rules for 2023.
In 2023 we will also be running leaderboards open to ALL riders who attend our events. A Junior Leaderboard sponsored by Bella View Agistment for all junior riders under 17 years, the AWHA Leaderboards; one for horses competing Prelim to Medium and one Advanced & FEI. The AFWSHA is also sponsoring a Leaderboard trophy for the best performed registered Friesian WB and again we welcome continued support of the OTT WA program in sponsoring a Leaderboard for OTT TB & WB's in different leaderboards for Participant, Competitive and SRD Member classes. Please see relevant competition dates on our 2023 page.
To round the year out we have an end of year social function where we celebrate the year and present annual awards for members in a variety of categories – some serious and some not so serious.
Our membership is restricted to 100 members this year so to enjoy everything listed above please get your renewal or new membership application in to us ASAP.

We are very close to the cut off limit already - so don't delay- you will need to be a fully paid Member to participate in the February Virtual Competition tests also.
